We Are Looking to Rebuild Our Church Community Choir!!

Now that our church community has grown again, I am interested in rebuilding our music program. To begin with, I think that it would be absolutely wonderful to create a community choir. Details below:

To start:

• Commitment: rehearse once every other week, perform one anthem/month in a combined church service

• This choir would be a rehearsed group, so I’d like to implement Voice Checks: This is not an audition, but I’d like to designate one or two days where the people who are interested join me for a short voice check, just to get to know your voice. By doing this, I can do my best scheduling music that is singable for our choir, and I can also give helpful tips so that we can sing healthily and sound our best!

SO, are YOU interested in singing with us? Have you sung in a choir before? Have you never sung in a choir before, but would like to? I’d love to hear from you!! I want this to be an inclusive and welcoming group that also inspires, educates, and empowers you. So, even if singing makes you nervous, please don’t be! I’d like this group to be good, but also fun! :)
